Seeking an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our growing team. As an entry-level Civil/Environmental Engineer, you will provide engineering/design support for solid waste, water/wastewater, stormwater, and site development related projects.
Requirements
~1 min read- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum Civil/Environmental Engineering Experience: 0-3 years
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Must be able to work outdoors and perform field work associated with construction and environmental projects.
Requirements
~1 min read- Registered Engineer Intern (EI) on track for Professional Engineer (PE) licensure a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible, well-organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
- Technical and Mechanical skills.
- Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification is a plus.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER a plus.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist design teams in all aspects of civil/environmental/geotechnical engineering projects.
- →Analyze reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs.
- →Prepare and modify technical documents, engineering reports, specifications, plans, cost estimates, construction schedules, and designs for projects.
- →Perform construction QA/QC tasks such as construction materials sampling, testing, inspections, and observations.
- →Perform environmental sampling and other field work as required.
- →Transport, operate and care for a nuclear density gauge as assigned, meeting all safety, care and maintenance guidelines as outlined in the Company Radiation Safety Program.
- →Assist with construction projects and site maintenance activities.
- →Coordinate projects with government officials, clients, support staff, subcontractors, and other entities.
- →Other company related responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
