Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II  Location: Des Moines, Iowa Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 annually

We are a certified Great Place to Work®, and our employee-owners are empowered to grow, collaborate, and make meaningful contributions every day.  Job Summary CCMSI is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and manage workers’ compensation claims in Iowa and Nebraska. This is a claims adjuster role responsible for delivering quality claim outcomes, maintaining compliance with claim handling standards, collaborating with clients and vendors, and providing exceptional service throughout the claim lifecycle.  The ideal candidate brings workers’ compensation claims experience, sound judgment, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to independently manage a moderate-complexity claim inventory.

 

 

• →Investigate and adjust workers’ compensation claims in accordance with company standards and established claim handling procedures.

• →Evaluate medical, legal, and related claim documentation to support timely and accurate claim decisions.

• →Authorize and process claim payments within applicable authority and regulatory requirements.

• →Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders as appropriate.

• →Coordinate with defense counsel and external service providers to support effective claim resolution.

• →Prepare claim reports, reserve recommendations, and documentation to maintain claim accuracy and compliance.

• →Manage claim activities across multiple accounts and industries while meeting service commitments.

• →Deliver responsive, professional service to clients, injured workers, and business partners.
