We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team at our assisted living facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
As a Certified Caregiver, you will also be responsible for administering medications, following care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote the best possible outcomes for each resident. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Medication Administration: Deliver medications as outlined in residents’ care plans.
- →Daily Living Assistance: Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and eating.
- →Health Monitoring: Observe and document residents’ health, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- →Personalized Care: Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident’s unique needs.
- →Emotional Support: Provide companionship and encourage a positive environment.
- →Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free living environment.
- →Emergency Response: Act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
- →Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and communicate with families about resident care.
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification Certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Negative TB Test (must be submitted before starting).
- Knowledge of medication administration and documentation.
- Ability to assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to senior care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in assisted living or healthcare is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and transfer residents following safety protocols.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with empathy.
- Professional and positive demeanor at all times.
