About the Role
~1 min readDMI, LLC is seeking an Oracle Cloud Security & Configuration Lead to support the enterprise applications and provide security support for Finance, HCM, EPM, and EDM areas with development and support transformation from current on-prem to Cloud application for ERP suite.
The Cloud Security function is responsible for safeguarding the organization’s cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and data across platforms such as Oracle Cloud Platform. This role ensures that security best practices are embedded throughout the cloud lifecycle—from design and deployment to operations and monitoring—while enabling scalable and compliant cloud adoption to support Enterprise applications, ERP, HCM, EPM, EDM, and supporting migration from on-prem to Oracle Cloud.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Lead the design, implementation, and governance of Oracle Cloud (Fusion/ERP/HCM/SCM/EPM/EDM) security.
- →Oversee role-based access control (RBAC), data security, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks.
- →Manage Oracle Risk Management Cloud (RMC), including Advanced Access Controls (AAC) and Advanced Financial Controls (AFC).
- →Provide integration support as needed.
- →Develop and enforce security policies, controls, and compliance standards across Oracle Cloud applications.
- →Design and maintain OCI security architecture (IAM, encryption, monitoring, logging).
- →Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation planning.
- →Troubleshoot functional or business process issues related to WMATA applications and systems.
- →Translate relevant application/system configuration to respective users, IT staff, and IT management.
- →Configure or reconfigure in-house tools for administration purposes or to support WMATA’s business processes.
- →Develop complex queries for reporting purposes.
- →Create functional design diagrams and present proposed solutions in the form of design reviews.
- →Work with other functional analysts and developers to determine the best technical approach, learn new functionality and features of in-house tools as new versions are released, and educate the user community.
- →Prepare requirements documents and report mockups.
- →Develop training materials.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years of additional applicable experience.
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Professional Security certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP).
- Experience in implementing business process risk and control designs across various cycles.
- Certifications in Oracle Core HR, Oracle Financials, or Procurement.
- Certification in Oracle Cloud Security Foundation or Professional.
- 8+ years of functional experience related to financial management, accounting, procurement, and other finance-related functions.
- Configure PeopleSoft Financials modules to align with business requirements. This includes setting up chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, cash management, and other finance-related configurations.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance readiness
- Manage joiner–mover–leaver processes and access lifecycle governance
- Troubleshoot issues related to roles, privileges, integrations, and access controls
- Lead multiple security initiatives and customer engagements simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and assessing Oracle Cloud security and segregation of duties controls.
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in Oracle Cloud Security related to role design across various domains.
- A proven track record of managing Oracle Cloud product implementations and configurations over 5 years.
