Registered Nurse

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days a week

CALO Programs is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our preadolescent and adolescent students with supporting high-quality nursing care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to a safe and positive environment for the students we serve.

Accepting applications for both Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.

• →Provide direct nursing care following CALO standards and SOPs.
• →Administer medications safely and accurately.
• →Triage and treat illnesses and injuries within scope of practice.
• →Follow infection control protocols and respond to infectious diseases.
• →Complete all documentation in BestNotes by end of shift.
• →Perform waived testing, phlebotomy, and basic nursing procedures.
• →Process physician orders and maintain student health compliance.
• →Support and guide unlicensed nursing staff.
• →Maintain healthy boundaries and positive relationships with students and staff.

• At least 21 years of age 
• Ability to pass criminal background check 
• Free of communicable disease, other evidence of ill health, or a condition which adversely affects ability to care for or poses a threat to children 
• Experience – Psychiatric or residential nursing experience preferred.   
• Education – Current Missouri or compact state license (in good standing as an RN or LPN).  Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
