The Learning Specialist supports the Training and Development team by assisting in the creation and delivery of effective training programs. This role involves helping to assess organizational development needs, contributing to content creation, and supporting the development of curricula. The Learning Specialist collaborates with various departments to identify developmental needs and assist in executing training sessions within the plant and across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including classroom / virtual classroom training, on-the-job training, coaching, mentorship programs and e-learning.

~1 min read- →Support the design, development, and delivery of training programs across the plant and enterprise.
- →Assist in assessing organizational and role-based development needs.
- →Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training materials, curricula, and learning resources.
- →Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and departments to identify training needs and priorities.
- →Help plan, coordinate, and support training sessions, including classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training.
- →Assist with facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and e-learning initiatives as needed.
- →Support evaluation of training effectiveness and incorporation of feedback for continuous improvement.
- →Maintain training records, documentation, and learning management system data.
- →Provide logistical and administrative support for training initiatives to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements

- Effective facilitation and presentation skills for classroom and virtual audiences.
- Strong written communication skills for creating clear, engaging training materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to adapt content and delivery methods to varied learner needs.
- Experience supporting training programs in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of multiple training methods preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, preferred.
