• The Registered Nurse will coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.• Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality, and cost effectiveness.• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.• Perform physical exam and health histories.• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.• Administer medications, vaccines, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.• The Registered Nurse will direct care of patients carried out by supporting staff as required to complete PWS patient care duties.• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.• The Registered Nurse will communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.• Telephone and in-person assessment/evaluation includes the determination of optimal time and location for patient management (ER or clinic) and follow-up care as required.• Prescribes and communicates treatment plans and patient teaching in accordance with established protocols.• Collects and assesses significant patient history information and performs all necessary patient teaching.• Excellent written communication skills to perform accurate documentation, both written and electronic, of all activity, including telephone contacts, in accordance with requirements.• Manage clinical programs as appropriate.• The Registered Nurse will ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each work shift.• Ensure preventive maintenance and routine cleaning are performed as directed.• Ensure medication/supplies are replenished.• Participates in the orientation and training of newly assigned personnel, as appropriate.• Serves/participates in committees, functions and other meetings as directed.• Provides relevant and timely information to these groups and assists with decision-making and evidence-based process improvements.• Participate in customer service initiatives and medical readiness activities designed to enhance health services.• Contract personnel may be required to work in other MTF duty sections. Contract personnel shall be flexible in rotating temporarily or permanently moving into other duty sections upon notification of the COR. If moved into a new duty section, they will be required to undergo orientation to the new section.

Minimum Qualifications:* Degree/Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree of Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

* Experience: Minimum of 24 months of full-time experience within the last 36 months. The preferred experience shall have been in a primary care clinic setting.* Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

* Life Support Certification: Possess current ARC or AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification. * Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
