Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (Rotating Weekly)

Pay range:

Grade 1: £13.75 (Starting rate)
Grade 2: £14.87
Grade 3: £16.06

Breaks: 2 x paid 20 minute breaks per shift

Closing date: Friday 2nd October 2026

Responsibilities

→Operate and maintain Vertical Form Fill & Sea (VFFS) bagging machines and multi-head weighing/dispensing machines to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
→Ensure products meet quality standards every time.
→Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and work with Engineering for repairs when needed.
→Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance.
→Follow strict hygiene and safety practices (GHP/GMP).
→Accurately record downtime, losses, and operational issues.

Requirements

Direct experience operating VFFS bagging machines and multi-head weighing/dispensing machinery in an FMCG factory setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good knowledge of check weighers & X-Ray machines
