Sr Systems Administrator

i3 has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Systems Administrator to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.

Pay Range $109,000 - $182,000

The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, geographic location, and any applicable laws.

• →Support and perform Windows system hardening and patching activities using DoD approved tools such as ACAS and HBSS.
• →Perform vulnerability remediation using WSUS/SCCM or other third party tools.
• →Manages the functionality of servers and computers running Windows operating systems within an Active Directory environment.
• →Perform implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management.

Required:

• Security+ Certification
• Minimum five (5) years of experience.  
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory groups, GPOs, user accounts, and other objects.
• Experience utilizing ticket systems to manage and respond to end user requests.
• Experience installing and maintaining network hardware and software.

 Desired:

• Eight (8) years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with data encryption such as BitLocker.
• Experience with virtual environments.
