Location: Cavalier Space Force Station, North Dakota

Temporary: 15-20 weeks

• →Perform Roads and Grounds Maintenance, to include roads, pavements, drainage systems, culverts, etc. Maintain and repair roads and parking areas to include, crack sealing, pothole repair, curbing, gutters, traffic, and pavement markings and paint striping.
• →Comply with Cavalier SFS plans, policies, and procedures, generate and maintain all Government records in the format provided. Provide electronic reports to the Government
• →Apply industry standards and commercial best practices, in the absence of directive technical orders and publications. Comply with local, state, and federal statutes
• →Safeguard all assets and information and follow Industrial, Physical and Operational Security requirements
• →Provide escort support for personnel without unescorted entry authorization that are performing contracted functions
• →Complete the following web-based training within the first three months of arrival and on an annual basis thereafter: Force Protection, and Cybersecurity and Awareness Program
• →Performs seasonal tasks such as the following: cuts grass, pull weeds, and trims bushes. Perform minor landscaping (maintenance of trees, shrubs, lawns, plants, flower beds, and rock beds) and Service Area cleanup
• →Removes ice and snow from sidewalks, entrance ways, and other public pedestrian areas and prevent the potential for hazardous snow or ice accumulation. Keep roads in a passable condition in all weather conditions and keep fire hydrants accessible
• →Maintain and repair sidewalks and steps to ensure safe access and passage. Sidewalks and steps will be free of snow, drifts, piles, and ice
• →Maintains an orderly and clean specified area following general instructions regarding the tasks to be performed
• →Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using heavy industrial powered equipment
• →Performs other duties not limited to general housekeeping, safety and environmental practices, requisitions parts, monitors cleaning and janitorial supplies
• →Performs touch up protective coating and painting and corrosion control as directed ensure the integrity of all RP/RPIE
• →Keep facilities within the Service Area free of pests
• →Picks up litter from immediate area outside the building

Relevant Experience:

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance

Relevant Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications/Licensing:

• None

Required Security Clearance:

• Must be able to obtainand maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
• Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
