The Environmental Services Technician maintains assigned areas in the hospital and/or dental/medical clinics in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Responds to special requests for cleaning or assistance and maintains a smooth flow of work. The Environmental Services Technician is cross-trained in all areas and facilities of PDH.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and procedures as relates to a health care facility.
Communication in the English language effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

→Selects cleaning materials and supplies and prepares solutions according to procedure.
→ Loads service cart and transports to work area as needed.
→Cleans assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal solution.
→High dusts vents, cabinets and other furniture.
→Collects soiled linen and distributes clean linen.

Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years.
