Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Post secondary degree/diploma in Activation/Recreation Therapy or Social Services/Gerontology from an accredited community college is required
- →Previous experience of at least one year in Adult Day Service or a long term care setting is preferred
- →Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- →Must be able to communicate appropriately with clients, staff, volunteers and visitors
- →Computer skills are required
- →Must have a valid CPR/First Aid certification
- →May be required to hold a Class “F” license
- →Must have Food Handlers Certification
- →Must be physically able to perform all delegated duties
- →Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

~1 min readTo ensure the safety, well‑being, and trust of Clients, Caregivers, and staff within our Adult Day Programs, successful candidates are required to complete the following pre‑employment checks prior to hire:
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (issued within the past six months)
- Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Testing (current within the past six months)
These requirements are a condition of employment in Adult Day Programs and support our commitment to maintaining safe, compliant, and high‑quality care environments.
