Check boarding patients in and out while reviewing care instructions with clients
Provide exceptional daily care for boarding patients, including feeding, walking, monitoring, and cleaning
Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary boarding and treatment areas
Observe patient behavior and report any changes to the veterinary team
Accurately document patient care and client communications
Follow hospital protocols for infectious disease prevention and biosecurity
Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and their pets
Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care

At least one year of Animal Care Attendant, kennel, or veterinary hospital experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of infectious disease prevention and sanitation protocols
Passion for animal care and commitment to providing outstanding service
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 40 pounds
A positive attitude—and the ability to withstand endless puppy kisses and kitty headbutts
