Pet Care Attendant - Mission Viejo, CA

• Provide daily care for boarded pets, including feeding, walking, and exercising
• Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, boarding areas, and common hospital spaces
• Perform regular cleaning and disinfecting throughout the hospital
• Assist with safe animal restraint during appointments and veterinary procedures
• Monitor pets for changes in health, behavior, appetite, or overall well-being
• Promptly communicate medical or behavioral concerns to the appropriate team member
• Bathe and brush pets as needed
• Provide friendly, professional service to pet owners
• Answer basic questions about boarded pets and communicate concerns to the veterinary team
• Help care for boarders on weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Follow proper animal-handling and safety protocols
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

• Previous dog-handling, kennel, boarding, or animal-care experience preferred
• Genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare
• Comfort handling pets safely and compassionately
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A self-motivated and dependable approach
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed
• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed
• Knowledge of basic pet grooming practices is a plus
