- Assist with patient exams, treatments, and medical procedures
- Obtain patient histories and prepare exam rooms for doctors’ appointments
- Collect blood samples, place IV catheters, and perform diagnostic testing
- Read and interpret ear, urine, and skin cytologies
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Take diagnostic and dental radiographs as applicable
- Utilize safe, low-stress handling and proper restraint techniques
- Educate clients on preventive care, vaccinations, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate medical records and support client communication
- Manage pharmacy duties and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Support daily operations with a team-first mindset
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant
- Strong skills in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
- Working knowledge of surgical assistance and perioperative patient care
- Experience with safe animal handling, cytology evaluation, and dental radiography
- Excellent communication and client education capabilities
- Positive, team-focused attitude with dedication to high patient care standards
- Growth mindset and investment in the success of the practice
- Initiative, collaboration, and contribution to a positive workplace culture
- LVT credential is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, dependable, and committed to compassionate patient care
