Responsibilities

→Perform needed maintenance, repair or rebuild of electrical equipment/motors and direct support of production operating needs.
→Evaluate electrical equipment operation and suggest necessary action when malfunctions occur, or improvements are needed
→Participate in planning activities and manage various plant utilities that can include chiller, air compressor, security system & fire protection system.
→Complete process and preventive maintenance work orders. Capture and communicate associated data
→Maintain plant electrical systems on equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, hydraulics, motors, pneumatics, automated controls and pumps
→Troubleshoot electrical issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment.
→Install and monitor current monitoring systems
→Calibrate controls instrumentation
→Maintain and enhance electrical and PLC troubleshooting
→Install, maintain, repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed
→Set up and operate power tools, drill motor, drill press, bench grinder, band saw, hand tools and other metal working equipment
→Assist with fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment
→Comply and participate regulatory, Carlisle, & departmental policies, procedures, & standards (PSM, safety protocols, COS)
→Work with mechanical maintenance technicians to help develop their electrical skills
→As directed execute projects on an as needed basis
→Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED equivalent, technical school preferred
Experience working as a electrical technician in an industrial manufacturing environment
Technical military specialties considered

Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
- Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
- Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
- Noise of industrial machinery
Typically, 40 hour per week with overtime as required
Days/shift vary based on facility need
