Responsibilities

As the Logistics Management Specialist, you will be tasked with developing, directing, and synchronizing all relevant logistics elements into a single cohesive support strategy for one of our largest US Military programs, in conjunction with the Program Manager and various other stakeholders.

  • Developing and analyzing data to determine logistics objectives
  • Identifying support requirements and the strategies used to meet them
  • Establishing relationship between support system and material system
  • Developing total Integrated Logistics Support Plan, evaluating plan success, and implementing corrective actions
  • Planning for future stages of acquisition and transfer into operational use
  • Coordinating with internal technical experts and external partners, including working closely with counterparts within the US Army’s procurement offices
  • Developing documentation and CDRLs to support systems in production and sustainment
  • Experience with resource management in a defense context
  • Comfort addressing complex problems not immediately amenable to established resolution strategies
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interpret specialized, technical documentation pertaining to program
  • Experience in Integrated Logistics Support for government procurement and sustainment
  • Prior service as a Logistics Specialist with the US Military
  • Prior service in military procurement office (min 5 years desired)
