Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service all systems and components of transport trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Competently use hand and power tools to carry out repairs according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Read and understand work orders, task procedures, and interpret technical manuals
- Write work orders and diagnose the cause of failures
- Mentor and assist apprentices
- Perform inspections as per the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program, if licensed to do so
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
- Journeyman or Apprentice with 2+ years directly related experience.
- CVIP License will be considered an asset.
