The Learning & Development Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that enhance employee capabilities. This role focuses on facilitating behavioural, functional, and organizational development programs, ensuring alignment with business goals. The Trainer will work closely with L&D leadership, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to drive learner engagement and support continuous learning across the organization.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Conduct engaging classroom, virtual, and blended learning sessions for associates, team leads, and managers.
- Facilitate behavioral, professional skills, leadership essentials, and functional capability programs as per L&D mandates.
- Ensure training sessions meet quality standards through effective facilitation, learner engagement techniques, and adherence to curriculum design.
- Manage end to end of learning program from design to delivery phase.
- Customize and adapt training materials to suit learner needs and business contexts.
- Create excellent content for learning programs and periodically update existing training modules.
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments, knowledge checks, and skill application evaluations.
- Track learner performance, attendance, and feedback; share reports and insights with L&D leadership and business stakeholders.
- Manage training schedules, training rooms and inventories.
- Use analytics and dashboards to measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with business units to understand capability gaps and training needs.
- Work with internal SMEs, L&D leads, and business partners to schedule and plan training interventions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new learning methodologies, and facilitation best practices.
- Participate in Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs, certification programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Contribute to building a strong learning culture by promoting continuous skill development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must have experience of conducting soft skills and behavioural trainings.
- Ability to facilitate interactive, learner-centric training sessions.
- Proficiency in Learning reports/data management, publish learning emails/reports.
- Proficiency in content authoring tools e.g Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Excellent content creation and designing skills.
- Experience in delivering virtual training via MS Teams, Webex, Zoom, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and modern L&D methodologies.
- Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, solution oriented, coaching, and feedback skills.
- Adaptable to a dynamic, fast paced and delivery oriented environment.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Master’s degree or HR/Training certification preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in Learning & Development, training delivery, or capability-building roles.
- Experience in IT/ITES or technology-driven environments is an advantage.
- Willing to work in an office environment.

- Behavioural/leadership development certifications (e.g., DISC, MBTI, Situational Leadership)
