Responsibilities

  • Works with the RHT Regional Lead and statewide partners to expand healthcare career pathway infrastructure connecting high schools to community colleges, training providers, and healthcare employers.
  • Develops and sustains partnerships with:
    • High schools, CTE centers, and school districts
    • Healthcare employers (hospitals, long-term care, behavioral health, ambulatory care)
    • Community-based and youth-serving organizations
    • CCSNH colleges and workforce development teams
  • Coordinates outreach, recruitment, and engagement strategies to increase student awareness of and participation in healthcare careers and training pathways.
  • Supports the design and implementation of high school-to-college healthcare pathways, including:
    • Career exploration and awareness activities
    • Dual enrollment and early college opportunities
    • Pre-apprenticeship and work-based learning models
    • Transition pathways into postsecondary healthcare programs
  • Works with healthcare employers and education partners to develop experiential learning opportunities, including job shadowing, clinical exposure, internships, and other aligned models.
  • Promotes equitable access to healthcare career pathways, with a focus on engaging underrepresented and underserved student populations.
  • Plans and delivers presentations, information sessions, and events at high schools, community organizations, and partner sites to promote healthcare career opportunities.
  • Collaborates with CCSNH faculty, staff, and workforce teams to align curriculum, programming, and student supports with healthcare industry needs.
  • Assists the Workforce Director at the assigned college location(s) as needed to address and resolve grant-related issues, communicating when required with the CCSNH Director of Workforce Development and the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Grant Manager.
  • Supports the Workforce Director at the assigned college location and participates, as needed, in statewide, regional, and federal RHT-related conferences, seminars, meetings, and workforce initiatives to ensure programmatic efforts remain aligned with best practices, evidence-based models, and statewide workforce development strategies.
  • Supports alignment between secondary, postsecondary, and employer partners to ensure stackable, credit-bearing, and industry-recognized credential pathways.
  • Provides input into regional strategy by identifying barriers, gaps, and opportunities within the healthcare talent pipeline.
  • Assists in tracking participation, outcomes, and program data to support grant reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Complies with all college, system, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Hybrid position with a designated home base at an assigned Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) college campus. Regular travel throughout the assigned region and across the state is expected to support employer engagement, partner collaboration, student support services, workforce initiatives, and grant-related activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Experience working with high school students, educators, and/or CTE programs
  • Experience engaging healthcare employers or knowledge of healthcare career pathways
  • Experience working with underrepresented populations (including low-income individuals, youth, individuals with disabilities, and multilingual learners)
  • Familiarity with career pathway models, dual enrollment, or work-based learning
  • Experience with federally funded grants and/or data tracking and reporting

Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation for statewide travel.
