Reclaim Coordinator

Primary Function: Provide support to the Polymer Department to drive optimum cutter utilization and bunker storage to maximize reclaim utilization while minimizing scrap sent to external processors. To be successful, this position will have to work closely with the 24/7 team in the film plant, the scheduling specialist, and the polymer department. This position requires a detail oriented person proficient with production schedules, product specifications, computers, and office software.

• →Work with site services leader and production team captains to refine manufacturing procedures and systems for tracking all polymer scrap and reclaim.
• →Reduce the overall level of scrap by maximizing reclaim utilization.
• →Improve or establish tracking of materials for scrap and reclaim film/polymers.
• →Improve 5S and visual factory conditions where reclaim and scrap are stored and processed.
• →Coordinate the movement and storage of reclaimed products considering production schedules, staffing, and equipment availability.
• →Proficient use of SAP system for keeping track of materials and inventories.
• →Responsible for running reports as needed
• →Personally accountable to work safe and promote site core values.

Educational Attainment:  High School Diploma required.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Needed:

• Knowledge or background in Polymer Operations is preferred
• Strong computer skills, to include spreadsheets, SAP, etc.
• Good communication skills, including written and verbal skills; ability to interface with all levels of organization
• Ability to work independently and be self directed including work planning and time management priorities
• Report writing techniques for collecting and interpreting data
• Knowledge of 5S and visual factory techniques
• Knowledge of Site policies/procedures
• Ability to do numerous tasks at one time
