Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Promote and support Centro's Safety System to help prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- →Assist with inventory accuracy and material flow processes.
- →Ensure proper implementation of process changes related to stores, labeling, packaging, and manpower requirements.
- →Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock-outs to Purchasing to proactively prevent production downtime.
- →Investigate stock-outs and significant production disruptions to determine root causes and corrective actions.
- →Conduct weekly inventories of cardboard and pallets.
- →Order packaging and other required materials on a regular basis or as needed.
- →Track packaging inventory and communicate requirements to ensure adequate supply levels.
- →Disposition nonconforming or questionable products in accordance with company quality procedures.
- →Perform duties in accordance with Centro's Quality System.
- →Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counting activities.
- →Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
