Maintains a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services Ensures proper building safety and security measures are always followed Maintains up to date information of events, both current and future, occurring in the city and county Answers the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly desk at all times Responds to all guest’s requests in an expeditious manner   The Nitty Gritty Two years related experience and/or training, especially being an unarmed security guard. Possess excellent verbal and people skills The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Valid driver’s license.  CPR certification required.  Previous experience in security or related field is preferred.  Ability to follow established security policies and procedures.  Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
