Shipping and Receiving - Shipping & Receiving Clerk 1st shift

Job Summary We're looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the movement of materials and products throughout our facility. In this role, you'll receive incoming shipments, prepare outbound orders, maintain accurate inventory records, and help ensure critical aerospace components are delivered safely and on time. What you do here has real-world impact—every day.   Shift: 1st shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm   What You’ll Be Doing Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, parts, and supplies. Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy and quality. Prepare, package, and ship outbound materials according to customer and carrier requirements. Create shipping labels and complete required shipping and receiving documentation. Enter inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in company systems. Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, when certified. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate shipping, receiving, and inventory issues to appropriate team members and departments. Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.   What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in a shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related role. Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and data entry. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately process documentation and inventory transactions. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.   Nice to Have Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Lean Manufacturing or TPM experience. Experience supporting facility infrastructure and building systems. Aerospace, foundry, or industrial manufacturing experience. Technical certifications in maintenance, electrical, or related trades.   Nice to Have Experience using inventory management, warehouse, or ERP systems. Forklift certification or previous experience operating material handling equipment. Familiarity with shipping carriers, shipping software, and logistics processes. Experience working in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment.   Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting are required throughout the shift. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate. May be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse traffic, machinery, and material handling equipment. Overtime may be required based on business needs and production schedules.
