Senior Full Stack Architect & Lead Engineer - Senior Vice President

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Architect & Lead Engineer to drive the design, development, and ongoing evolution of the Citi Funds Transfer Pricing (CitiFTP) platform as part of a Treasury-led transformation of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) capabilities. This role will lead the delivery of Client-level FTP, UX modernization, and operational automation, while ensuring the platform evolves into a scalable, intuitive, and future-ready system. Beyond delivery, this role owns engineering excellence, platform modernization, and sustained innovation. The ideal candidate combines deep full stack technical expertise, strong architectural leadership, and domain knowledge in Funds Transfer Pricing, with the ability to translate complex business needs into robust, scalable solutions. Responsibilities: Architecture & Solution Leadership * Define and drive end-to-end application architecture across UI, services, and data layers * Translate complex Treasury and client requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions * Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and modernization standards Full Stack Engineering Leadership * Lead design and development across Frontend (UX modernization, intuitive business workflows), Backend services & APIs and Data processing & integration layers and Drive modular, reusable, and extensible design patterns * Simplify platform architecture and reduce operational complexity * Continuously improve performance, scalability, and time-to-market Technical Leadership & Governance * Act as the primary technical authority for CitiFTP * Establish and enforce engineering standards, design governance, and quality practices * Lead design reviews and critical technical decisions * Mentor development teams and drive engineering excellence at scale Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery Ownership * Serve as the key technical liaison across Treasury, Product, Architecture, UX, and DevOps * Own end-to-end technical delivery and outcomes * Present architecture, progress, and efficiency improvements to senior leadership (EMT-4 level) Operational Efficiency & Automation * Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational risk * Improve platform observability, resiliency, and supportability * Drive measurable improvements in efficiency, stability, and maintainability Qualifications: Core Technical Expertise * 15+ years in application development with strong full stack engineering experience * Deep expertise across frontend frameworks (modern UI/UX patterns), backend services / APIs and data processing and integration architectures * Strong experience in scalable, enterprise-grade system design Architecture & Transformation Experience * Proven track record leading complex platform transformation and modernization initiatives Leadership & Influence * Ability to define standards, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment * Strong communication skills, including executive-level presentations Behavioral Competencies * Strategic thinker with strong execution focus * Ability to manage complexity and drive clarity * Strong ownership, leadership, and mentoring capabilities * Collaborative and outcome-driven mindset Education: * Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience \------------------------------------------------------ ## Job Family Group: Technology \------------------------------------------------------ ## Job Family: Applications Development \------------------------------------------------------ ## Time Type: Full time \------------------------------------------------------ ## Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above. \------------------------------------------------------ ## Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter. \------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.
