Straightforward drop-and-hook freight, consistent Northeast routes, and a schedule built around getting drivers home every weekend. CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a regional truck driving position running out of Camden where freight stays organized and routes remain predictable from week to week.

This fleet operates on established Northeast regional lanes with dispatch planning designed to keep trucks moving and reduce downtime between loads. Drivers typically run Monday through Friday and return home for a full 48-hour reset every weekend. The focus is on maintaining steady miles, reliable freight flow, and a schedule drivers can count on.

Freight & Route Structure

Drivers move freight throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and surrounding Northeast states. Loads are planned in advance whenever possible, helping create smoother transitions between deliveries and reducing unnecessary delays. The consistency of the freight network helps drivers maintain dependable miles throughout the week.

Equipment

Drivers are assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadias equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, SiriusXM capability, and TV setup options. Trucks are maintained on a regular service schedule to keep equipment reliable and available.

Pay & Benefits

Weekly earnings range from $1,350 to $1,550 depending on miles and performance. A $1,200 guaranteed minimum pay program is available for qualifying drivers during slower freight periods. Payroll is processed every Friday. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, safety incentives, and toll coverage through E-Z Pass and I-Pass programs.

Orientation

Orientation lasts approximately 2.5 days with hotel accommodations and meals provided. Drivers receive $500 during orientation and leave with lane information, dispatcher contacts, and a clear understanding of the operation before their first trip.

Driver Requirements

A valid Class A CDL is required and drivers must be at least 21 years old.

Qualified applicants must meet one of the following:

• 3 months OTR experience within the last year
• 6 months OTR or local experience within the last year
• 1 year OTR experience within the last 3 years
