Salary Range: $58,700/year

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for a residential program, ensuring high-quality person-centered supports while managing program operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

• Complete all required trainings and certifications
• Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule
• Provide emergency coverage and crisis support when necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned


• Ensure the quality and safety of supports provided to adults with disabilities and/or brain injuries in residential settings
• Support individuals in developing and achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
• Promote independence, community engagement, social connections, and healthy lifestyles
• Ensure Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) practices are consistently implemented throughout the program
• Organize meaningful community activities and opportunities for skill development
• Oversee compliance with Department of Public Health Medication Administration Program (MAP) requirements
• Support individuals with personal care needs and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as necessary
• Maintain effective communication with individuals served, families, staff, and stakeholders
• Ensure staffing coverage meets all program and funding source requirements

• Interview and hire employees in partnership with individuals served when appropriate
• Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth
• Attend BAMSI leadership meetings and management trainings and share best practices with staff

• Identify and address program needs related to facilities, vehicle maintenance, and overall operations
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, including incident reporting and ISP documentation
• Monitor use of petty cash, credit cards, gas cards, and individual funds in accordance with agency policies
• Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus one of the following:

  • One (1) year of experience in a related field and one (1) year of supervisory experience, or
  • Two (2) years of experience in a related field

Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to person-centered supports and community inclusion
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals served, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Basic computer proficiency, including email, documentation, and electronic systems

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed
