Why Coda
Coda is a global growth engine for commerce, connecting people, digital products, and payments through trusted monetization and distribution solutions.
With 600+ people from 57 nationalities across 23 locations, we’re a truly global team headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Amsterdam, Dubai, Bristol, Shanghai, Eindhoven, and across Southeast Asia.
We power global commerce through a dual model. Our B2B solutions, Codapay, Coda Webstore, Coda Links, Coda Distribution, and Giftcloud, enable publishers and brands to monetize and distribute digital content globally. On the consumer side, we operate a portfolio of trusted storefronts including Codashop, Recharge.com, Startselect.com, and mobiletopup.co.uk, that give customers secure and easy access to game top-ups, digital credits, vouchers, gift cards and prepaid products in over 70 markets.
Our culture is built on respect, ownership, and collaboration. We move fast, support each other, and celebrate wins together.
If you’re looking to grow your career and make a real impact in a global team, Coda is the place for you.
Payment Partnerships owns Coda’s relationships with payment providers across every market we operate in. The team negotiates commercial terms, manages channel performance, and makes sure customers can pay the way they prefer, treating payments as a commercial lever that improves conversion, lowers cost, and grows revenue for Coda and its publishers.
This role focuses on the performance side of that mandate: understanding how each payment channel is converting, monitoring it closely, and turning that insight into decisions the team can act on with providers and publishers.
The Opportunity
We’re building automated monitoring for Coda’s payment channels, and we need a data- and engineering-minded intern to help build it. Working closely with our Payments Performance Senior Associate, you’ll help turn manual monitoring into automated pipelines, dashboards, and alerts, so the team can spot conversion drops, TPV-limit risks, and cost anomalies as they happen rather than after the fact. This is a hands-on build role suited to someone who enjoys turning a real problem into working tools.
Data pipelines: Build and maintain data pipelines (Python and SQL) that ingest and transform payment and transaction data for monitoring.
Dashboards & reporting: Develop dashboards and automated reports (Metabase, Quicksight, or similar) covering conversion rates, channel performance, TPV, and cost.
Alerting: Set up alerting for performance drops, TPV-limit risks, and anomalies so issues surface automatically.
Automation & AI tooling: Explore lightweight automation and AI-assisted tooling to reduce manual monitoring effort.
Documentation: Document what you build so the team can run and extend it after the internship.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on Python and SQL, with experience building data pipelines or ETL (Airflow or equivalent a plus).
Comfortable building dashboards (Metabase, Quicksight, Superset, Tableau, or similar).
Bonus: exposure to APIs, cloud data tools such as AWS Glue or Redshift, or LLM/AI-assisted workflows.
Available full-time from August to December 2026, based in Singapore.
Self-directed, with prior internship or project experience building data or AI tooling a strong plus
