About the Role:
We are seeking a Korean Coordinator/ Interpreter to support our expanding operations with Korean partners and clients. Your role will go beyond literal coordination; you will ensure that the "intent" and "spirit" of our business communications remain intact, fostering strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Real-Time Support: Act as the primary interpreter for live interactions, including virtual meetings, client presentations, and site visits.
- Written Excellence: Translate a wide range of materials, including technical specs, legal policies, and daily business correspondence between Korean and English.
- Consistency: Maintain a centralized glossary of terms to ensure consistency across all written and spoken communications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical departments to ensure that engineering and product requirements are clearly understood by all stakeholders.
- Discretion: Manage highly sensitive corporate information with total professionalism and discretion.
- Training Support: Assist in the production of bilingual guides and onboarding materials for diverse teams.
Requirements :
- Language Proficiency: Minimum 1-2 years of professional fluency in Korean (written and verbal).
- Excellent communication in English
- Background: Previous experience working as an interpreter/translator in a corporate setting.
- Terminology: Strong grasp of business and technical vocabulary to ensure precise meaning in high-pressure environments.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain neutral and accurate during interpretation.
- Organization: Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Tools: Bonus points for experience with translation software or collaborative digital workspaces.
