Food Service Assistant - Part Time

The Food Service Assistant is responsible for assisting in all food preparation and supporting kitchen operations within CTI’s Child and Family Services Division.

• →Assist in preparation of snacks and meals.
• →Set up, deliver, pick up and break down of meal carts.
• →Maintain all necessary CACFP (Child Adult Care Food Program) logs
• →Maintain clean work areas including prep tables, storage spaces, refrigerators and stoves, and trash removal in accordance with sanitation and safety guidelines.
• →Wash dishes, pots, and pans and run dish machine.
• →Maintain strict food safety and personal hygiene standards.
• →Attend regular food service meetings and mandatory food service trainings.
• →Follow compliance regulations for local state and federal CACFP.
• →Uphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion.

• General knowledge of food preparation and nutrition.
• Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Recent Physical and MMR immunity
• Ability to pass CORI and background check which includes fingerprinting

• 1-year previous experience in food service operations.

• · Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer English/Portuguese)
