Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and manage capacity requirements aligned with business needs and infrastructure growth.
- →Facilitate the creation of policies to optimize existing capacity usage.
- →Ensure data recovery, maintenance, integrity, and space requirements across platforms.
- →Conduct capacity workload modeling and availability analysis for large environments.
- →Serve as an expert resource for IT groups in planning system resource requirements.
- →Present statistical availability, trend analysis, and recommendations to IT leadership.
- →Ensure the reliability and availability of platforms to meet business objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience, including managing teams responsible for infrastructure/operations support in multi-platform environments.
- Middle-level management experience in operations and management functions.
- Experience mentoring supervisors, project leaders, and/or technical staff.
- Proven ability to work on multiple, complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert.
- Ability to report to senior IT management roles, such as IT Chief Operating Officer or Director of Data Center Operations.
