We are seeking an experienced Production Support Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our Production Support group. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient production support, including operator training, data center scheduling, and systems recovery. The Production Support Manager will monitor and report production outages and perform proactive analysis to maintain high availability and service level attainment. This position requires collaboration with IT and business unit personnel to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities

- →Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient production support, including operator training and data center scheduling.
- →Monitor and report all production outages, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- →Perform proactive analysis to identify factors impacting high availability and service levels.
- →Collaborate with IT and business unit personnel to align production support activities with business objectives.
- →Manage and mentor supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff in the Production Support group.
- →Lead multiple complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of IT work experience, including managing teams responsible for production and operations support.
- In-depth knowledge of computer operations, monitoring and control, systems recovery, and production processing control.
- Middle-level management experience in data center operations.
- Experience working under general direction of senior-level management.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
