Role Description
- Lead daily operations across maintenance and logistics functions
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and workflows to meet production demands
- Manage transportation planning, routing, and delivery coordination
- Support and develop the logistics lead and other team members
- Partner internally to align priorities and ensure execution
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Ensure equipment is maintained/repaired and operating effectively
- Monitor performance, manage costs, and support operational reporting
- Assist with hiring, training, and managing the performance of a small team
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized work environment
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, maintenance, or a related field
- Associate's degree in production, logistics, or a related field
- Ability to manage and quickly respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and team collaboration abilities
- Experience repairing equipment and/or vehicles
- Able to meet physical demands including lifting materials and standing/moving for extended periods
- Proficiency with standard business tools, systems, and technology
Work Environment & Schedule
- Primarily based in a shop and yard environment
- Regular interaction with equipment, materials, weather, and active work zones
- Schedule aligns with first shift, with flexibility based on operational needs
- Occasional extended hours or after-hours support will be needed
