QA / QC Manager or Supervisor

They are a large-scale apparel manufacturing operation serving international brands across North America, Europe, and Northern Asia. Production is primarily handled in-house through owned factories with a strong focus on functional outerwear and performance garments. This role is critical to ensuring delivery reliability, quality consistency, and operational efficiency at workshop level.

Purpose: This role leads factory QA/QC operations within an apparel manufacturing environment.

• Defect rates remain within agreed thresholds
• Quality data is accurately captured and acted upon
• Inspection teams operate consistently and effectively
• Customer and external audit requirements are met

• →Design and maintain inspection and reporting procedures
• →Supervise inspectors and technicians across workshops
• →Monitor production processes and final outputs for compliance
• →Analyze quality data to identify trends and preventive actions
• →Liaise with production teams to resolve quality issues quickly
• →Maintain quality records, reports, and audit documentation
• →Coordinate with external QA auditors during inspections

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
• Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred) or other quality management certifications is a strong advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC leadership roles within apparel manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with garment quality systems, inspection standards, and production quality control processes.
• Experience supporting customer audits, corrective actions, and compliance requirements.
• Outerwear, activewear, or functional garment manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of garment quality assurance methodologies and inspection systems.
• Ability to analyze quality data, defect trends, and operational reports.
• Experience using MS Office and reporting/database tools.
• English communication skills for audit coordination and reporting.
• Experience with statistical quality analysis or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Exposure to international customer compliance standards.
