Snr Project Manager - data, technical with extensive retail IT experience

Overview: A highly experienced Senior Project Manager is sought with a strong background in retail technology and data-driven initiatives to lead the delivery of large-scale IT projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing complex technical implementations within retail environments and a proven ability to drive projects from initiation through to successful delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage large-scale retail IT and data-related projects across multiple business and technical teams. • Drive end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, risk management, and reporting. • Manage implementation and delivery of complex enterprise retail systems and technology initiatives. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and resource allocation. • Establish and maintain project governance structures and ensure adherence to delivery methodologies and standards. • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring mitigation plans are implemented. • Coordinate data-related initiatives including system integrations, data migration, data platforms, and enterprise technology implementations. • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. • Drive stakeholder communication and provide regular status updates to executive management. Required Experience: • Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering enterprise-scale technology initiatives. • Strong experience within the retail industry is essential. • Proven experience leading large-scale retail IT systems implementations. • Strong experience in technical and data-focused projects and environments. • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across complex business environments. • Experience managing enterprise application implementations, system integrations, and transformation initiatives. • Strong understanding of technical environments, data ecosystems, and enterprise platforms.
