Financial Manager

Financial Manager Our client, a leading company in the Energies sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Zambia. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of a dynamic and growing organization. Basic Duties: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage cash flow, financial planning, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders. Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies. Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA preferred. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial management, ideally in the Energies, Mining, or Infrastructure sectors. Strong knowledge of Zambian financial regulations and taxation laws. Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
