Renewable Energies Projects Manager Location: Cape Town, South Africa Job Type: Full-Time Department: Project Management Reports To: Director of Project Management Job Summary: Our client in the renewable energies sector is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energies Projects Manager to lead and manage various renewable energy projects. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects. Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring collaboration across various departments. Maintain strict adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Ensure all projects comply with local regulations and environmental standards. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones. Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with project execution. Foster an environment of continuous improvement by incorporating industry best practices and innovations in renewable energy. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the renewable energy sector. Relevant degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Must be registered with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). Proven ability to manage large-scale projects efficiently and effectively. Strong leadership skills and experience in team management. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Desirable Skills: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. Experience with solar, wind, or other renewable energy projects. Strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems and integration.
