Head of Production

Role Overview

The Head of Production will lead CREA’s live commerce production function, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient execution of all livestream and content production across clients. This role is responsible for production strategy, team leadership, studio excellence, and operational performance, while continuously elevating production standards to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and manage the end-to-end production function for livestream and digital content.
• Define and implement production standards, processes, and best practices across all projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in production quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with commercial and client teams to align production strategy with business goals.

2. Team Management

• Manage, mentor, and develop the production team (producers, crew, and technical staff).
• Plan team structure, resource allocation, and shift scheduling to support business demands.
• Build a strong production culture focused on accountability, quality, and problem-solving.
• Support hiring, training, and performance management of the production team.

3. Livestream & Studio Excellence

• Oversee the execution of all livestream sessions to ensure high production quality (lighting, sound, camera, setup).
• Design and optimize studio setups and production environments for different brands and campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in visual standards and brand presentation across all productions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and professional manner.

4. Equipment & Technical Management

• Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of all production equipment:
• Cameras, switchers, audio systems, lighting, computers, and streaming tools
• Ensure all equipment is properly tested and configured before and during livestreams.
• Drive improvements in technical setup and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain understanding of live streaming technologies, platforms, and network requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, Mass Communication, Film, Multimedia, or related fields.
• Over 5-8+ years of experience in production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or team management role.
• Strong experience in livestream production, studio setup, or digital content production.
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality production under tight timelines.
• Understanding of live streaming platforms (TikTok, Shopee, Lazada) is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of production equipment and technical setup (camera, lighting, audio, switching).
• Familiarity with tools such as OBS or other live streaming software.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends when required.
