Senior Engineering Supervisor-Hotel

The Senior Engineering Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for the daily operations of the Engineering department, supporting the maintenance, safety, appearance, and functionality of our luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property.

This role will help lead and develop the Engineering team, prioritize work orders, coordinate preventive maintenance, conduct property and equipment inspections, and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to established hotel standards.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen equipment, life-safety, and general building systems. The Senior Engineering Supervisor will also help oversee preventive maintenance programs, monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues before they impact operations, and coordinate repairs with outside vendors when necessary.

As a senior member of the Engineering team, this position will assist with training, coaching, scheduling, assigning work, monitoring productivity, maintaining parts and equipment inventories, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes. The Senior Engineering Supervisor will also serve as a key operational leader when Engineering management is unavailable.

The position will partner closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Security, Banquets, and hotel leadership to address maintenance needs quickly while minimizing disruption to guests and hotel operations.

The ideal candidate has strong hotel or commercial building engineering experience, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and previous supervisory or leadership experience. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and building operations is essential.

Previous luxury or full-service hotel engineering experience is highly preferred, and Hilton or Curio Collection experience is a plus.

Schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities, may be required based on hotel operational needs.
