Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Draft Pleadings: Guardianship filings and reports that judges can trust at first glance.
- →Manage Guardianships: Track 200+ cases, deadlines, and reports like a seasoned air-traffic controller.
- →Court Coordination: Schedule hearings, communicate with clerks, and keep attorneys looped in.
- →Client Communication: Calm worried families and explain processes with warmth and clarity.
- →Attorney Support: Surface key updates and ensure attorneys always have what they need.
- →Record Organization: Maintain digital files so clean even opposing counsel would be jealous.
- Experience: Prior legal or administrative experience preferred, but not required). Exceptional newcomers with rock-solid writing chops will be considered.
- Bi-lingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
- Research & Writing: You can brief a thorny issue in plain English—and proof your work without Grammarly holding your hand.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable in case-management platforms, MS Office, and e-filing portals.
- Soft Skills: Positive, coachable, stress-resilient, and genuinely curious about the law (clock-punchers need not apply).
- On-Site Commitment: Full-time at our El Paso office once renovations finish; brief remote training period possible.
