About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our tax team. In this role, you will manage the company’s federal, state, and international income tax compliance, accounting for income taxes (ASC 740), and tax planning initiatives. This role reports to the Director, Income Tax.
Manage the preparation and timely filing of all federal, state, and international tax returns.
Manage tax calendars, estimated payments, extensions, and ensure timely, accurate filings across all jurisdictions.
Assist external consultants with the timely preparation and filing of statutory financial statements in foreign jurisdictions.
Manage the quarterly and annual income tax provision (ASC 740), including calculating current and deferred income taxes, ETR reconciliation, and ensuring appropriate documentation for financial statement disclosures.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SOX controls.
Identify and implement tax planning strategies to effectively manage the company's tax exposure and optimize cash flow.
Monitor and analyze new and proposed tax legislation and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on the company's operations and financial statements.
Research and communicate to accounting leadership team on technical tax topics.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of senior tax associates, fostering a high-performance environment.
Review and improve internal tax processes and technology to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate with company personnel to obtain information necessary to prepare US tax filings.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, and a
Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience.
A master’s degree and CPA license are preferred.
