Schedule: Monday-Friday, with flexibility for weekends as needed
Pay Range: $23.00-$25.00/hour

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, loading, and facility cleanliness. This role provides day-to-day direction to warehouse associates and forklift operators to help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The Warehouse Lead works closely with the General Manager to maintain productivity, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and service levels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Provides day-to-day direction and task guidance to warehouse associates, forklift operators, and other warehouse support staff as assigned.
• Assists with organizing daily workflow, assigning work, and ensuring proper coverage across warehouse functions.
• Supports training of warehouse employees on company procedures, safety expectations, forklift practices, and job responsibilities.
• Provides feedback to the Warehouse Manager regarding employee performance, attendance, productivity, and safety concerns.
• Does not have independent authority to hire, terminate, or issue formal discipline, but may provide input to management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Supports efficient warehouse operations by coordinating receiving, picking, packing, staging, loading, and inventory movement.
• Monitors daily work progress to help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Assists with cycle counts, inventory audits, and reporting to support inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
• Ensures warehouse areas are clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company procedures.
• Monitors forklift operations and helps ensure employees follow proper equipment and safety practices.
• Reports equipment, facility, inventory, staffing, or safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
• Assists with training new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures.
• Uses warehouse systems and reporting tools to track order status, inventory movement, and productivity as needed.
• Supports process improvements to improve accuracy, safety, efficiency, and workflow.
• Partners with dispatch, drivers, sales, purchasing, and operations teams to support timely order fulfillment and delivery readiness.
• Attends and participates in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings as requested.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and support warehouse employees.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, picking, loading, and order fulfillment.
• Understanding of basic safety practices, forklift safety, and warehouse compliance expectations.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems, scanners, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office as needed.
• Reliable attendance and ability to support changing business needs.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of warehouse, inventory, distribution, or related operations experience preferred.
• Prior lead, trainer, forklift, or warehouse coordination experience required.
• 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisor role required.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse and facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and safely work around moving machinery and vehicles.
• Exposure to warehouse environment conditions, including noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
