Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within our logistics (3PL) warehouse. This role will handle shipping and receiving activities, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and returns processing while ensuring all Elegant Additions policies are followed. The Warehouse Lead will train and guide warehouse & delivery staff to ensure efficient operations, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the Polished warehouse team in day-to-day operations.
• Train and hold warehouse staff accountable to Elegant Additions policies and procedures.
• Partner with EA Operations and Logistics Managers to coordinate the shipping and receiving functions, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
• Maintain an organized and streamlined warehouse environment.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Manage the returns process to ensure timely and accurate handling of returned items.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing and Operations Manager to determine appropriate actions for returned items.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory
  management, and order fulfillment.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  

Required Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Safety Standards Knowledge: Awareness of and adherence to safety guidelines and regulations in the warehouse environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining proper documentation.
• Computer Competencies: Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office and
  other warehouse-related software.
  

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
