This role coordinates and implements donor experiences through events, communications, and campus engagement activities that highlight the impact of philanthropy and strengthen long-term relationships with the university. In addition, partners across campus to plan, organize, and execute stewardship initiatives, ensuring projects run smoothly, communications are timely, and donors remain informed, connected, and inspired.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead, coordinate, and implement the Comprehensive Stewardship Plan, including event programming, social engagement activities, and board-related stewardship efforts.
- →Responsible for coordinating stewardship communications to support collaboration across internal and external partners.
- →Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and deliverables for department related projects.
Planned Giving & Stewardship
1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

They demonstrate strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the capacity to develop timelines, track progress, and manage deliverables efficiently. With effective written and verbal communication abilities, they support stakeholder coordination and stewardship efforts while leveraging strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships with campus partners, vendors, and external stakeholders. They are adept at analyzing information, identifying issues, and coordinating solutions to drive project and program success, while remaining flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. Additionally, they exhibit keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in communications, data coordination, and project tracking, and are proficient in using standard office and project management software to maintain organized documentation and workflows.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, communications, and/or 4 years of professional experience in project coordination, event planning, or a related field preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required
Employees who are required to operate motorized vehicles and/or use their personal vehicle more than once a month on university business are required to take a mandatory Defensive Driving course and enroll in the DMV Employee Pull Notice (EPN) Program.
