Designs and prepares pipeline construction drawings, tie-in plans, and permit applications for moderate complexity projects (up to $2M). Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with design codes and standards.

  • Design and permit capital projects (growth, replacement, relocation, betterment).
  • Prepare tie-in, gas-up, and gas-out procedures with supervisory review.
  • Size standard residential service lines, EFVs, meters, and regulators.
  • Gather field data for above-ground facilities and GIS mapping.
  • Assist with bill of materials, material procurement, and vendor selection.
  • Review and release final construction drawing packages for scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with CAD standards and templates
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree preferred (Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related).
  • Basic CAD training or certification required.
  • 1 year of related experience required
  • Standard Driver’s license
  • Knowledge: Materials, drafting software, basic civil surveying, construction principles, utility locating, electronic mapping, One-Call requirements.
  • Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, strong math skills.
  • Abilities: Work independently, interpret regulations, collaborate effectively.
