About the Role
~1 min readThe Assistant Project Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of projects across the Policy and Strategy Team. You’ll provide practical project and administrative support to help develop, implement and monitor a range of programs, including the Duke of Ed Framework and other Office of Sport initiatives.
The role is hands‑on and varied from coordinating meetings and preparing documentation, to assisting with research, reporting and stakeholder communication. You’ll contribute to ensuring projects are delivered on time, to standard, and in line with operational and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide accurate advice and information to support the compliant delivery of the Duke of Ed Framework and other Office of Sport programs.
- →Promote programs through attendance at events, presentations and industry engagement activities.
- →Support project planning and delivery by monitoring milestones, preparing reports and tracking progress against project plans.
You’re organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple tasks and deadlines. You adapt quickly, communicate clearly and enjoy supporting others to achieve shared outcomes. You bring strong attention to detail, confidence using technology and a willingness to learn new systems and processes. You work well within a team environment, build positive relationships and take responsibility for delivering quality work. You’re also committed to child safety, compliance and upholding public sector values.
Requirements

- Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
