~1 min readWe have an exciting new opportunity to join our close-knit, friendly and high-performing Corporate Affairs team as a Communications Project Advisor. You will play an important role in providing executive support and supporting the delivery of communications projects that help achieve the NSW EPA’s business objectives.
In this role, you will provide high-level support to the Director of Corporate Affairs for diary administration, team planning and co-ordination of reporting, helping to ensure projects are well planned, delivered on time and aligned with organisational priorities. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide practical advice and support the delivery of effective communications outcomes.
You will also contribute to quality control, reporting and analysis, using data and insights to monitor project progress, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and support informed decision making. Your work will help strengthen communication practices, maintain brand consistency and contribute to a positive customer experience.
We are looking for an experienced Executive Officer, who can combine strong executive support, business and team coordination skills, with a customer-focused approach. Experience in corporate affairs is not essential but highly regarded.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and projects, with the ability to manage diaries, develop administration systems, coordinate activities, monitor progress and keep work on track.
- Demonstrated expertise in the design and technical requirements for developing and managing content and information through intranet and online channels, with the ability to use these channels to promote effective organisational communication.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive and collaborative relationships
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to use data and insights to identify trends, outcomes and opportunities for improvement.
Corporate Affairs team leads internal and external strategic communications, media, ministerial, parliamentary, campaigns and behaviour change and environmental reporting via environment line.
