- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $84,659 to $92,701 (pro-rata) + super
About the Role
~1 min read- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in event coordination, ideally within sporting, entertainment, convention centre or local government venues
- Strong experience managing stakeholders including clients, contractors, security, catering and operational teams
- Proven ability to coordinate and deliver multiple events simultaneously, while managing competing deadlines and priorities
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt when event plans change
- Experience across event logistics including bump-in/bump-out, contractor coordination, risk management and event day operations
- Strong customer focus and communication skills, with confidence working in a client-facing environment
- Sound understanding of venue operations, including safety, risk and operational requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and event/booking or CRM systems; exposure to financial systems (e.g. invoicing, MWZ) highly regarded
- Ability to take ownership, solve problems proactively and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Availability to work weekends as required by the event schedule
- Highly regarded is the flexibility to work additional hours during major event periods to support operational requirements. Applicable penalty rates and loadings will apply.
Requirements

- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- A Working with Children Check is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012.
