Senior Business Development Advisor

• Permanent full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity,
• Office location based in Harrington Street, The Rocks with flexible working supported
• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $133,348 to $146,945 + super

Join the team responsible for activating some of Sydney’s most iconic destinations and help bring a diverse range of arts, cultural, community and commercial events to life. In this role, you'll lead a small team managing venue enquiries, stakeholder relationships and venue hire and filming opportunities, while ensuring a high standard of customer service.

You'll work with a broad range of clients, partners and stakeholders to support venue and precincts activation, drive commercial outcomes and coordinate the administrative processes that underpin successful events and partnerships. This is a fast-paced role that requires balancing competing priorities, managing high enquiry volumes and building strong relationships with stakeholders who may have differing needs and objectives.

• →Experience in venue management, event management, arts and cultural events, hospitality or a related field, with an understanding of delivering successful customer and stakeholder outcomes.
• →Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and supporting teams, allocating work, developing capability and fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
• →Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, government agencies, community groups, industry partners and service providers.
• →Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, oversee venue administration processes and respond effectively in a high-volume environment.
• →A customer-focused mindset, with the confidence to resolve issues, manage competing interests and deliver positive outcomes for a diverse range of stakeholders.
• →Resilience, sound judgement and a proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the successful delivery of commercial, cultural and community objectives
