ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for carrying out and monitoring all accounting and tax operations relating to Data4's business in Italy (several entities). You will monitor financial flow in order to prepare reports (balance sheet, income statement, tax return, etc.). You will be responsible for auxiliary accounting (AR, AP) and maintaining the general ledger. You will supervise the accounting team. You are familiar with SOX requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage the accounting functions of multiple subsidiaries

• Perform accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance (incl. AR billing and cash collection, AP and payment process, bank reconciliations, Fixed Assets book and depreciation, Intercompany reconciliation)

• Manage GL accounting, execute and/or record transactions, including needed documentation

• Coordinate and manage the month-end, quarterly and year-end processes

• Prepare local documentation for quarterly consolidation package (IFRS)

• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and prepare adequate supporting documentation

• Manage accounting team

• Be participant in digitalization process and implementation of tools and applications

• Responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements in relation with external auditors

• Key contact for audit process and regulatory authorities

• Prepare tax filings

RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS

Education and experience

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in accounting or finance

· 5 to 7 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

· Knowledge of SOX rergulations and compliance

· Experience in managing a team

Technical skills

· Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax procedures

· Good knowledge of IFRS and Italian GAAP

· Good knowledge of Italian Tax legislation

· Knowledge of legal standards (labour law, tax law, company law) ;

· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office sute

· Good knowledge of Excel including dashboards and pivot tables

· Fluent in English and Italian
